Annual subscriptions still issue credits and included generations monthly. One-time balance top-ups are available on every plan. The live /pricing page and checkout preview are authoritative.
Included generations
Section titled “Included generations”One unit covers one standard image or short video output: four images use four units. Higher resolution, longer clips or premium models use credits for the difference. Chat turns are not covered; the agent’s work uses credits. The studio marks a covered run Included. Starter has no included video; the studio says “Video isn’t included in your plan”. A run above the platform confirmation threshold ($2 by default) asks you to confirm its price before generation.
Paid-plan units reset with each monthly credit cycle, including on annual subscriptions. Starter’s five images reset each UTC calendar month only after e-mail verification. Units never roll over. Upgrades add units immediately; downgrades and cancellations take effect next cycle.
How credits work
Section titled “How credits work”The Billing page displays two credit cards:
- Included plan credits contain a one-time Starter grant ($5 by default) for the person who creates a team, credited after e-mail verification, once per person across identities. Invitees joining another person’s team do not get this grant. Starter credits do not expire and remain after an upgrade. Core and Pro period grants expire at period end and do not roll over.
- Purchased credits come from one-time card top-ups, remain separate from a subscription, and never expire.
Charges use included credits in this order: the current period grant, then Starter credits, then purchased credits. Every AI model, image, and video operation is metered against the team balance.
The Usage page (Settings → Usage) shows period spend and its breakdown. Its picker defaults to the current billing period and also offers today, the last 7, 30, or 90 days, and a custom range.
These credits pay for AdWitch operations, not Meta ad spend. Meta bills advertising spend directly through the payment method on the ad account.
Ad-management commission
Section titled “Ad-management commission”AdWitch also charges an ad-management commission. Its percentage comes from your plan (or a team-specific agreement) and is shown on the Pricing page and beside the consent checkbox when you connect or reconnect a Meta ad account.
The commission applies to the whole daily Meta spend of every connected ad account, including imported campaigns and campaigns outside Autopilot. Accrual starts on the first full day after connection in the ad account’s timezone. Each day’s commission is charged in USD from the team wallet. For an account billed in another currency, the day waits until its FX rate is available—AdWitch does not estimate it. The day’s commission rate and FX rate are then frozen. A Meta spend correction received within seven days appears as an adjustment using those frozen rates.
Example 1 — daily commission. A EUR account reports €100 of spend for a complete day. If that day’s frozen rate is €1 = $1.10 and the team’s commission is 6%, billable spend is $110 and the commission is $6.60. Meta still charges the €100 ad spend through the account’s own payment method; AdWitch charges only the $6.60 commission from the team wallet.
The commission is charged even if the wallet cannot cover it. This creates a negative balance (debt), not a skipped charge. The platform grace period is three days by default, although the platform setting may differ.
Example 2 — debt and grace period. Assume a $4 wallet balance and a $6 commission posted on Monday. The wallet becomes −$2 on Monday and the grace period starts. Autopilot can continue during the grace period on a commission plan. If the debt is still overdue when the configured three-day grace period ends, AdWitch pauses campaigns through the Meta API according to the team’s debt policy. A top-up that brings the balance above zero clears the enforcement condition and the campaigns resume automatically.
On Settings → Billing, the current-plan card shows the rate, and debt with its due date appears as a notice above the cards; per-account spend, commission, period totals and the monthly forecast are on Settings → Usage, whose spending breakdown includes an Ad management fee category. Commission history rows identify the ad account, spend date, underlying Meta spend, commission rate and charged amount; FX and later correction adjustments are shown where applicable.
An account can show a grace-period, overdue/paused, or reconnect-required status. Reconnecting requires accepting the displayed rate again and does not erase accrued charges. Disconnecting or revoking access also does not cancel debt. A Meta ad account with unpaid commission debt in one team cannot be connected by another team until the debt is settled or the block is waived.
Changing or cancelling a plan
Section titled “Changing or cancelling a plan”Open /pricing to choose another catalog offer. Before an existing Stripe subscription changes, AdWitch shows a preview. An upgrade may include an immediate prorated charge; a downgrade is normally scheduled for the end of the current paid period. The live preview is authoritative.
Open Settings → Billing (/settings/billing) to see the current plan and scheduled change. A cancellation keeps subscription access until the displayed paid-through date. Purchased credits remain available. A scheduled Stripe cancellation can be resumed before the subscription ends.
Failed payment
Section titled “Failed payment”If a Stripe renewal fails, the subscription can enter past_due or unpaid. Use Manage in Stripe from Settings → Billing to update the payment method. If payment remains unpaid, the subscription grant and unused included credits are revoked; purchased credits remain separate.
Enterprise
Section titled “Enterprise”Enterprise terms are agreed individually. Choose Enterprise on /pricing and submit the company name, team size, monthly ad budget, and optional requirements.
