Campaign Management
AdWitch manages advertising on Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Open Campaigns at /campaigns to work in the interface, or describe the job to the agent at /chat.
Campaign manager
Section titled “Campaign manager”The Campaigns tab is a manager for campaigns, ad sets and ads; the Templates tab stores reusable campaign templates. The manager provides:
- a shared reporting period and totals;
- search plus status and ad-account filters;
- configurable metric columns, including delivery, budget, spend, results, CPA, ROAS, reach, clicks and video metrics;
- inline editing and bulk enable, pause, delete and Bulk edit actions;
- delivery and learning-state details from Meta.
Rows without data are shown as unavailable rather than silently treated as zero. Money keeps the ad account’s currency; totals do not combine unlike currencies into a false amount.
Bulk edit changes status and name across selected rows. Campaigns and ad sets also support daily or lifetime budget; ad sets additionally support bid amount and start/end times. Ads support status and name only. Duplicate creates a paused copy.
Build a campaign
Section titled “Build a campaign”Choose Create manually on /campaigns to create a local draft. The form supports Meta objectives, CBO or ABO, daily or lifetime budget, buying type, bid strategy, schedule and Special Ad Categories. Open the campaign at /campaigns/:id to add and edit ad sets and ads.
An ad can use an image, video, carousel, existing Page post, lead form, click-to-WhatsApp flow or catalog. Targeting helpers can search Meta locations, interests and locales, and the agent can request reach and delivery estimates.
Placements include Threads when Meta allows it for the objective and an Instagram account is linked. Advantage+ sales campaigns can use a connected product catalog for catalog ads when the account and assets qualify.
For a guided build, say:
“Plan a Meta sales campaign for this offer with a daily budget of 200, ask me for any missing launch details, then show me the plan to approve before building drafts.”
The agent asks only for missing launch facts, shows a plan, and creates the campaign, ad sets and optional ads only after you approve it. Publishing is a separate, confirmation-gated step.
Import, publish and operate
Section titled “Import, publish and operate”Choose Import from Meta to select Meta campaigns that are not yet synced and create their local counterparts. You can then inspect or edit them in AdWitch.
Before publishing, connect the target account at /accounts, select its default Page, and select a Pixel when the objective needs one. Creatives must already be in the team library or available on Meta.
Ask the agent:
“Publish campaign ‘Spring Sales’ to Meta.”
AdWitch asks for confirmation before publishing. After publication, the agent can activate, pause and edit entities, with changes synchronized to Meta. It can also clone a campaign to another connected account or launch it on several accounts.
For EU-targeted ad sets, the beneficiary and payor required by the EU Digital Services Act are filled at publish time from the ad account’s defaults, Business or Page when needed. Review and confirm this pair once per ad account before its first such launch, or set it explicitly on the ad set.
Campaign templates
Section titled “Campaign templates”The Templates tab at /campaigns/templates stores reusable campaign setups for the team. Save a local or imported campaign’s structure, targeting and copy, tag it by niche, then apply it to another connected account. Applying a template creates a campaign and ad sets as local drafts. Ads are created without creatives; attach them before publishing. Use the target account’s Page and Pixel rather than the source account’s assets.
Try:
“Save campaign ‘Evergreen Leads’ as a template tagged SaaS.”
Audiences and account assets in chat
Section titled “Audiences and account assets in chat”Custom Audiences, Lookalikes, Saved Audiences, custom conversions and product catalogs are managed through the agent. Customer-list audiences are hashed before upload. Website audiences need a Pixel, and Meta’s Custom Audience Terms must be accepted for the ad account.
